Ultima Powerflex shock leader is used by some of the best international anglers around the world. It has a low stretch factor enabling the angler to put more power direct to the weight and therefore increase his casting distances. Powerflex shock leader is very strong and safe with a very high knot strength, yet soft supple and easy to use. Used and recommended by the UK and Belgian teams in the 2007 world casting championships, Powerflex is the ultimate shock leader and is available in either clear or Hi Vis orange.
Be sure to use a correctly tied Shock Leader Knot when joining your shockleader to your main line. No matter how good our lines are, if there is an incorrect or badly tied knot, this can lose you fish, as well as be extremely dangerous. Remember to practice knots until you can tie them perfectly every time.
