Sussex Catch Report

Not many reports this week as its that time of year when good fish are hard to come by. The water at most areas is relatively dirty and should produce Flounders from most beach marks. Brighton Marina has been producing Pin Whiting, Dabs and Rockling, with best results after... more.

With the winds dropping, more and more people have been able to get out and wet a line.
There has been plenty of Whiting about and a few good Cod. There has also been Eels and a few Flatties.

This week has again seen windy and rainy conditions but with a few brief calm spells in between. With the water having been churned up, the fish have been on the feed inshore and im itching to wet a line. Seaford has been fishing very well with Eels, Pout, lots of Whiting and... more.

This week has seen windier weather at the latter part of the week after a settled start. As such there has been a mix of catches. This week has again seen N and NE winds which have kept the water clear. There have been some very good catches this week and I have been fortunate to get a couple of fishing sessions in. This week saw NE and N winds for the most part which lead to calm conditions inshore. As such, the fishing has been pretty good for most summer species, especially with the bigger tides. I fished with HDSA on Saturday and due to the strong NE, ENE winds it meant that for a good part of the day we could only go a mile out before the white water started.
