All online credit and debit card transactions at AB Fishing Tackle are processed using either Actinic Payments or PayPal. Both methods are secure and comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). You may choose which payment method you would like to use when you go through the checkout.

To increase the security of Internet transactions Visa and Mastercard (including Maestro) have introduced the Verified by Visa (VbV) and Mastercard Secure Code cardholder authentication schemes. The two schemes are collectively known as 3D-Secure and can be considered as an online version of Chip & PIN.

Actinic Payments, powered by Creditcall, is a processing system for secure online payments. Actinic Payments has the highest level of bank-approved security Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Level 1. Actinic Payments adhere to the most stringent levels of fraud screening, ensuring that your payment details remain secure throughout the transaction process.

If you choose to pay by credit or debit card you will be directed to the Actinic Payments secure payment site where you will be asked to enter your credit or debit card details. You can check the security status at this stage by observing the golden padlock symbol in your browser. If you are using Internet Explorer version 7 or above, this will be located at the top next to your address bar. Otherwise it will be located in the bottom right corner.

If you choose to pay by PayPal you will be directed to PayPal's secure payment site where you can pay using your PayPal account or using a credit or debit card. You can check the security status at this stage by observing the golden padlock symbol in your browser. If you are using Internet Explorer version 7 or above, this will be located at the top next to your address bar. Otherwise it will be located in the bottom right corner.
