Rod technology has come a long way from the broom handle and split cane beachcasters of the 20th century and nothing demonstrates this more than Penn’s new Powerstix Pro Surf Series. Penn Powerstix Pro Surf rods have been built to accommodate both the fixed spool and multiplier user.
Using a high resistance 3 piece 24T carbon blank and available in two sizes (13ft and a massive 15.9ft) these beachcasters are capable of sending a baited rig a very long way. Boasting many of Penn’s high specification qualities, these rods are built to catch fish and not to simply look good.
