Mustad Wishbone Clipped Down Rig

The Wishbone Clipped Down Rig allows you to use two different baits very close together. A good combination is one hook baited with peeler crab and the other baited with a moving bait like ragworm. This combination appeals to round fish like whiting as well as flatfish such as sole and plaice. A combination of scents and visual movement makes for a killer bait. The wishbone clipped down rig can also be used at long range as the baits are clipped down close behind an impact shield bait clip. This effectively secures the bait during the cast so it lands safely on the seabed. This is a highly effective rig.
