Designed for use over rough ground, the Mustad Pulley Rig minimises your chances of becoming snagged while retrieving a good sized fish. As many large fish hunt over rough ground, it's highly likely that at some point you are going to get snagged and typically when you have a good sized fish on. As the rig name suggests, a pulley motion lifts your weight off of the sea bed as the fish pulls to become free. This leaves your weight and rig clear of the seabed and any snags. Its highly unlikely the fish will become snagged, increasing your chances of landing the fish. The pulley rig also uses an impact shield bait clip to help reduce bait tear during the cast and to help increase distance.
Tip: Use Bait Elastic to whip the bait securely to the hooks.
