PVC Stand Offs or Short Semi Rigid Booms are an excellent way to direct a snood line away from the main line of a rig body. By using a PVC stand off, snood and rig body tangles can be avoided, helping to present bait much more naturally. A stand off is simply a length of tubing cut approx 20-30mm, which is then slid over a snood line and snood swivel. The tubing will also help to protect the knot attaching the snood line to the swivel from any abrasion.
