The Two Hook Bomber Rig is a popular match fishing rig. By using two different hook lengths, long and short, baits can be presented differently, attracting a wider scope of fish. The long snood or hook length allows the baited hook more freedom to travel and behave more natural in the tide. If a bait is located to close to the weight and rig some fish (rays for example) will actually be put off. This could cost you the match and a nice cash prize! If you're fishing on clean ground with no snags, try using this rig with a plain weight and no grip wires. This will allow the rig to tumble over the seabed presenting your bait in a more natural fashion in the tide.
Tip: Use Bait Elastic to whip the bait securely to the hooks.
