Abu Hellbender FS Surf Rod

With long rods fast becoming popular here in the UK, it didn't take Abu Garcia long to re-develop their Hellbender series of beach casters. These continental style rods allow simple casting techniques to achieve long distances with minimal effort.

The Abu Hellbender FS Surf is designed for fixed spool use and is available in two sizes, 14ft casting 3 to 7oz and 15ft casting 4 to 6oz. Built from an IM6 high modulus carbon blank with Triangular SIC guides and a fixed screw reel seat, these rods are capable of launching a baited rig a very long way, while still maintaining a very supple action for playing fish and enjoying the fight!
